Jim Mattson (Note Cards and Prints): Jim Mattson is a life-long Duluth resident. He grew up in the Central Hillside - watching ships on Lake Superior from his bedroom window. He then began to draw various maritime subjects, such as freighters, sailboats, and clipper ships. Jim is a very diverse artist. He designs logos, whimsical and fantasy art, and he does cartooning and more. Jim has note cards and prints for sale. He specializes in calligraphy. All of his art work is original and is done in either pen and ink or charcoal. Jim can be reached via email at lnature5126[at]q.com.
 Robert Jones (Minnesota Botanicals Company): Based in Duluth, Minnesota Botanicals Company carries the finest plant-based products on the market. Its premiere product line presents two varieties of organic lavender essential oil, grown in the thriving micro-climate of New Zealand. Lavandula angustifolia is a pure strain of lavender with sweet overtones and is used primarily for treating the body of minor irritations and skin conditions.  Good Knight - 40 Oz. Below Zero: "Good Knight" is an up-and-coming hip-hop artist hailing from Duluth, Minnesota. His first album, Northern Exposure, received critical acclaim after winning the University of Minnesota's Battle of the Bands contest at Spring Jam 2009 during the infamous Dinkytown Riots. He also was awarded Electric Fetus Duluth Artist of the Month in July 2009 after selling the most albums for a local Duluth hip-hop artist. Local hits "Duluth, Minnesnowta," "Pine Trees," and "Funny Paper" have created a strong buzz for this witty emcee known for his golden age hip-hop flow and sharp rhyme delivery influenced by life struggle and drinking 40 ounce malt liquor beverages, mixed with sick bass pounding beats laced with jazzy and alternative rock samples. Not just an emcee, Good Knight also produced some of his album's instrumentals along with other local producers. There is only a bright future for this artist, as the Good Knight continues to create music with a true hip-hop flavor.
Good Knight's second studio album, 40 Oz. Below Zero, drops July 16, 2010 with 16 original tracks with production from all local producers. The first single "Two-Eighteen (Duluth, Minnesnowta Part II) has created a huge local buzz already. Be on the lookout for a tour in the near future.
