Record Store Day at The Electric Fetus
Saturday, April 17th, The Electric Fetus will celebrate the third annual Record Store Day, along with other independent record stores across the country.
Each of our three stores will give away "goodie bags" of CDs and hold hourly drawings (must be present to win) for prize packs of 7" singles and lots of other cool stuff. Each store will have it's own in-store events planned. So far, they are as follows:
Minneapolis:
We will have breakfast (coffee, Birchwood food) in the morning and cook out in the afternoon.
TICKETS FOR A SPECIAL SOLID GOLD / THE IDLES HANDS SHOW AT NICK & EDDIE THAT NIGHT (4-17-10) TO THE FIRST 200 PEOPLE TO SPEND $15.00 OR MORE ON RECORD STORE DAY! (Excludes ticket purchases) *** One ticket per customer. $30 does not get you two tickets.
In-Store Performances 1:00 p.m.: DR. DOG In-Store Performance 4:30 p.m.: PAUL CEBAR in-store performance
SPECIAL MINNEAPOLIS RSD RULES: The morning of Record Store Day our Minneapolis store will start a line outside the building before we open. We will give everyone a number. The Record Store Day product will be kept in a special roped off section. Once open, we will begin calling out numbers only allowing a certain number of people to shop the RSD section at one time so that people can shop in an orderly and safe fashion.
WE WILL HAVE A LIMIT OF NO MORE THAN 15 RSD ITEMS PER PERSON, WITH NO MORE THAN ONE COPY OF ANY ITEM. We are implementing this policy in an effort of fairness, so that the first few dozen shoppers can't grab everything, and everyone gets a fair shot at some cool stuff. So, make a list and prioritize what you want most. If we run out of something, try one of the other stores in town. Most of (if not all) the other stores in town are participating. We reserve the right to change or amend these rules.
